Wouldn't
YOU love to be in a position to write something like that to me in a few

But let's be practical and realistic. Changing your attitude to wealth
doesn't happen overnight - even if there are many gurus out there who
claim that is the case.

Today the money is all gone and she lives in a trailer!
Or perhaps William Post - who won $16.2 million in the Pennsylvania
lottery in 1988 but now lives on his Social Security.

So now hopefully
I've begun to get you thinking a little bit. Money IS necessary for people
to survive and thrive, but it can easily slip through your fingers whether
you have it or not.
Even if you were deeply in debt and needed $500 to survive, and I gave
it to you in cash...your short-term problem would be solved...but in the
long-term, that very same problem would re-appear with a vengeance unless
you did something DIFFERENT about it.
But...just
DOING things differently might well not make that difference either.
Many people spend their lives jumping from one thing to the next and take
a lot of action in the process - so it isn't the amount or difference
of work that is the key to wealth here - it's that 'action' that is going
on between your ears that is important!
Don't believe me?
OK then. Go and find the nearest millionaire you can find.
Ask them this question...
"If you were to lose all of your money tomorrow...would you be
able to find a way to earn it back again in a different business than
the one you made your fortune with?"
The answer to this question, which I personally have put to 51 millionaires
I've met over the years is a resounding "Yes!". In fact every
single millionaire I questioned said exactly the same.
One of them went even as far to say that he would welcome being wiped
out because he has three other perfectly formed ideas to implement that
would probably make him more money anyway!
Now...just so that I can be clear on this point...
My wife Lesley always tells me that I always say life's not about focusing
on earning money, yet I respect and spend time with millionaires.
The thing to remember
about millionaires is not about how much money they earn. It's about the
thought processes that led them to become millionaires! The money is just
a measurable return on that level of thinking.
And, the
reason why I like to spend time with as many as I can find is that I can
learn from that way of thinking. How they earned their money, and what
skill or industry they earned it from doesn't matter - it's what it took
to get them there is the key.
And...if they are REALLY sharp - then they have everything else lined
up too...their work/life balance, their relationships, and their health,
too.
They (like you do now, too) understand that it's not all about status,
and working all day every day in pursuit of more money...their wealth
and abundance mindset has taken them far away from that.
