Your Questions Answered...
QUESTION:
Why are you
releasing a paper-and-ink newsletter and not just releasing it online
as a membership site or as a downloadable document like everyone else?
ANSWER:
As you will find out for yourself...I am doing so because
I am not like 'everyone else'! For me...it would be much easier to release
my newsletter as a membership site or a downloadable document. I would
also make more profit from it, too.
BUT...I am more concerned with increasing the chances that YOU actually
read what you pay for!
As I mentioned in "The Truth About Becoming Wealthy" online
seminar - a couple of years ago I met someone who was involved in both
marketing and self-improvement...and he told me that, whatever method
he used - group coaching, seminars, ebooks, home study courses, even 1-on-1
coaching - only FIVE PERCENT of his students actually did something with
what he shared with them.
Now...he STILL had happy customers and those customers bought more stuff
from him (still without implementing any of it). He was happy because
he was still making money!
But that's not good enough for me for YOU to be in that 95%. I
want YOU to read and put into practice what I teach, because, believe
me...it's changed MY life...and it WILL change yours.
So...by having my newsletter physically appearing in your home every month...I
am automatically increasing the chances of it being read, compared to
being another link in one of hundreds of emails you receive every day.
How do I know this? Well...I subscribe to five marketing paper newsletters...and
am a member of five membership sites in the same niche.
To date...I have read every single page of every single newsletter
I have received.
The membership sites? Well...one I visit very frequently...but am 3 months
behind the 'program', another two I vist occasionally, although I do read
a lot whilst I am there...and, unfortunately - the other two, I very rarely
visit because they update their information infrequently...or have a downloadable
document which is too long to read on the screen, which I never quite
get around to printing out!
And...I'm successful and motivated by most peoples' standards
- yet even I don't get value from the money I spend on digital purchases...compared
to the HUGE value I get from the real newsletters.
I read them on the train, in bed, in front of the TV, whilst I'm waiting
for programs to load, whilst I'm eating my dinner, and even in the bath!
The key is here - those newsletters are read...and ALL of those
'dead times' as I call them, are turned into learning times - times in
which a digital document cannot be read.
QUESTION:
I
think $24.97 a month is too expensive...why can't you charge less?
ANSWER:
Where wealth
and success is concerned, you should be looking at value and return on
investment instead of cost, and, compared to other monthly online programs
out there - you are certainly getting a lot for your investment. (Including
regular 1-on-1 access to me.)
If you honestly look at what you may spend on cable TV, novels, newspapers,
coffee, or fast food every month - then you can soon see that $24.97 isn't
that expensive at all - not when you realize how it can change your life.
In fact...$24.97 is way too cheap for what I share with you in
the newsletter, the online seminars, the bonus teleseminars, the Magnetic
Wealth ebook, and the quarterly call-in days. Within a few weeks, I will
certainly be raising the price of the newsletter to reflect more accurately
the value that you will receive from it.
Remember, unlike a membership site, I have actual hard costs to produce
the newsletter, as well as my online costs. Fortunately, as I just mentioned
in the last question, as I am producing the newsletter in the U.S. rather
than the more expensive UK...I can pass those cost savings to you for
a start.
But ...I'm concerned that many things that people buy these days
are expensive just because there are enough people in the market who have
enough credit card capacity to buy it!
Whether they actually get around to getting a return on their investment
is quite often not the main concern of many 'false gurus' out there.
Also...from a more selfish point of view...I want to share my thoughts
and ideas with as many people as I can (as I know that I can have a positive
impact on peoples' futures), at the same time as being able to make a
living from what I do.
I am certainly not a charity as my wife and two daughters' financial security
is of utmost importance to me (as, of course, yours is where your family
are concerned.)
So...even though I certainly have costs involved compared to offering
a purely digital product, I am more concerned with delivering
value to YOU first and foremost, rather than attempting to charge more
'just because I can'. (As you read the newsletter regularly,
you'll begin to understand why this mentality is crucial to your future
wealth prospects).
QUESTION:
You only offer a few bonuses,
yet other people who sell me stuff give me lots of bonuses. Why don't
you?
ANSWER:
To be honest,
I could easily offer you twenty or thirty bonuses - but I can guarantee
that they would either me the same old stuff you see everywhere, or they
won't be relevant to your investment in the newsletter.
It's a common 'trick' amongst marketers to blind you with tons of bonuses
that are supposedly worth thousands of dollars - yet, in terms of the
value they will give you - are practically worthless. It gives the impression
that you are getting amazing value, when, in effect, it's usually a smokescreen
to cover the fact that their product isn't usually very good!
I personally would much rather offer you relevant and quality
bonuses that actually relate to the newsletter, and each other.
That way, you will get a greater benefit from more focused information
based around a common theme, rather than lots of irrelevant stuff from
lots of my 'friends'.
QUESTION:
I already am overloaded with
ezines I don't read - I won't have the time to read it.
ANSWER:
If you're certain that you're not going to read it, don't subscribe!
As I mentioned in the last paragraph above - you may be surprised how
many ways there are to create a little time over the course of a month
to read 12-16 pages.
It will certainly take me longer to write it than for you to read it...yet
I'm busy doing many different things. It all comes down to how much you
WANT to do something that will benefit you.
Like with anything success and wealth related...if you wanted
it badly enough, then you'd start doing things differently, and spend
more time on the things that will contribute to your future success, not
what contributed to your past failures.
It's the same reason why I fly thousands of miles three or four times
a year and spend a week away from my family to go to seminars...because
I know that the people I meet there will contribute to my future more
than staying at home for a week!
QUESTION:
There won't be nothing new in your newsletter
- why would it be any different?
ANSWER:
Of course
it won't be different! (Although I certainly believe that it's effect
on your life will be different!) As I said in the "The Truth About
Becoming Wealthy" video - there are no 'secrets' where wealth is
concerned.
In fact...if you don't think that the newsletter sounds like something
you're looking for at this time in your life, I'd rather than you didn't
waste your money on something that you aren't going to read/use/apply.
But...if you've been a subscriber of my ezine over any length of time
- then you'll know that I share techniques/ideas/strategies that
I have applied myself in a real-life way that doesn't need to blind you
with science or fancy words to make a difference.
In fact...as you saw in the video...I prefer to share my opinions of what
I believe will work for you, even if it means that I lose sales or lose
subscribers because of it. So you could say that this is different in
itself.
QUESTION:
I'm not much of a reader...I prefer to learn by listening or by watching.
ANSWER:
Although
I personally prefer to learn by reading myself, I certainly understand
that other people may prefer other learning modes.
To be totally open and honest with you - the newsletter will be the primary
'vehicle' through which I will share my knowledge with you - in the same
way that I have done via my ezine and ebooks over the last five years
or so.
And...until a few days before the launch of the newsletter, this was what
I was going to share with you. But, once I began to get such amazing feedback
about the "The
Truth About Becoming Wealthy" online presentation and audio -
I have also decided to include something similar as part of the
"Our Wealth Partnership" newsletter package (at no additional
cost to you).
But, in the same way that becoming wealthy is a different path for everyone...then
I am willing to give you something every month that will be useful to
you if you prefer to learn by a different method.
QUESTION:
How will your newsletter help me become wealthy?
ANSWER:
Well...perhaps
I would be biased in my opinion on that one! Perhaps my experience over
the weekend will give you some idea...
I was an attendee at a 1,000-strong Internet seminar starring many of
the top 'names' in Internet marketing, and not one, but TWO of the speakers
at the event asked if they could joint venture with me and promote my
newsletter to their mailing lists! Now...I didn't once ask them to promote
it for me...I just shared with them what I was intending to do
with the newsletter, and THEY asked ME!
As one of them put it..."We both know that the success
of the students in my coaching program won't be down to how much I teach
them about Internet marketing, or how much work they do - it will be due
to their mindset."
Even more instructive from this comment is that his students pay him $7,997
a year to be in his program...so even paying him that much isn't enough
motivation for many of them to succeed without the right mindset.
QUESTION:
I'm not interested in money
- how would a newsletter about wealth help me with other issues/challenges
in my life?
ANSWER:
Welcome to the club! My goals in life are certainly NOT
based around how much I earn...there are many more important things to
me like being able to spend time with my family, working doing what I
love and not having that 'Monday morning feeling', a great relationship
with my wife, good health, and no stress in any area of my life.
You've also found out my hidden agenda for the newsletter!
Although I certainly talk in great depth about a wealth mindset - the
wealth part (in whatever form it takes for you) is a natural byproduct
of getting your mindset right in the other areas of your life.
As most people believe that money should be the sole measurement of success...it
certainly makes sense for me to tackle that subject full on - but, in
essence, once you realize that long-lasting, liberating wealth has very
little to do with your bank balance - then the money side begins to take
care of itself.
It's been proven that the vast majority of big lotto winners end up back
where they started within five years of winning the jackpot - so your
long-term wealth doesn't necessarily relate exactly to how much money
you have.
It's how you THINK about how much money you have (or haven't)
got that is the key - which is where the "Our Wealth Partnership"
newsletter comes in.
QUESTION:
Why do you call it a 'Partnership'?
ANSWER:
Like
with my ezine...I call it a 'Partnership' because that is truly what it
is.
If you don't get value from what I share with you - you'll unsubcribe,
and I lose out. So...if you continue to 'win' and get value from me...then
I benefit too (as does my ego!!) Guess why I give away "To
Our Success" - a free year long e-course just to show you that
I deliver value. It's also why I have written over 800 articles on my
blog
over the years and shared them for free. Not many people in this
industry do that without any obligation on your part.
Also...from a more practical viewpoint, I like to work with my subscribers
on a number of levels. I have already formed joint ventures with some,
spoke at seminars put on by others, coached many, and consulted with a
few.
I also do business on the basis that I want to bump into ANY subscriber,
customer, or client...and they will be glad to see me!
Believe me...I have been to many seminars where dissatisfied customers
of the speakers are sharing war stories with others about how they were
cheated, underdelivered, or undersupported. I much prefer for my subscribers
and customers to be happy to share a drink at the bar with me, and introduce
me to their friends!
QUESTION:
I know that
you are from the UK, Gary...I don't want to wait for it to arrive here
in the U.S.
ANSWER:
Although my UK friends will be disappointed - I have arranged
for a printing and fulfillment of the newsletter to be done by a firm
in Sarasota, Florida, as the majority of my readers are based
in the U.S. (They are the same company who I use for my "Truth About
Success" Home Study Course.)
